HANDA FOUNDATION PROGRAMS

The Handa Model Farm was established in 2016 and is located just ten minutes from the Handa Medical Center. It has approximately ten hectares of rich farmland for cultivating tree fruits and vegetables. The center collaborates with many different partners to be a place where families can learn to grow their own small vegetable gardens, where professional farmers can attend training events to learn new techniques that increase their productivity, and where extra fruits and vegetables are harvested and donated to those in need.
