The staff of The Handa Foundation in Battambang were honored to host a visit from New Zealand rugby legend Mr. Dan Carter. Mr. Carter is the highest point scorer in test match rugby history and is considered by many to be one of the greatest players to ever play the sport. He was named the International Rugby Player of the Year in 2005, 2012 and 2015. In addition to giving a speech to the staff, encouraging them to continue serving those in need, he also spent a good deal of time teaching rugby drills to the students at the Handa Academy. He said they showed a great aptitude for the sport and left behind more than 20 practice balls for them to enjoy
